Welcome to the 2022 -2023 school year!

After graduating Blaine Senior High in 2006, I attended Anoka-Ramsey Community College for three years. It was at this time that I discovered my love for English, Literature, and Writing. This path helped me choose a four-year university that had an appreciation for the Liberal Arts; in 2009 I began my first year at Bemidji State University in Bemidji, Minnesota. I graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Creative and Professional Writing and a minor in Art History in 2011. After a two and a half year break working in sales and the medical field, I was accepted in to the Masters of Arts in English Education program at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado. I completed my Student Teaching and graduated in May 2017.

My adventure at HLWW High School will be the continuation of my fifth year of teaching, having previously taught at a high school near Denver, Colorado. I am interested in extra-curricular activities such as theater, technical theater, and speech and debate.

It's going to be a memorable year, and we will get through it together!
