Tone Chimes are a lot like handbells, but instead of having the hammer on the inside of a bell, the tone chime hammer strikes the outside of a bar shaped a lot like a tuning fork.
In a Tone Chime Choir, each student is responsible for playing one or two pitches. When played together correctly, beautiful melodies and harmonies are formed!
Tone Chime Choir is a short-term ASA offered twice a year as an extension of choir. Our first group will prepare Christmas music, and our second group will prepare Easter music. This ensemble is open to students already enrolled in UP Choir and is best suited for students comfortable reading music.
Registration will go through SchoolsBuddy.
Tone Chime Choir will rehearse on Tuesdays from 4:00-5:00pm (after UP Choir).
*Please note that there are no school buses for activities that release at 5:00pm. Please arrange to pick up your student from the Lower Primary Security Gate at 5:00pm each week.
