Welcome

Welcome to HKIS! We are excited to host the APAC Cross Country, and our community extends a warm welcome to all visiting student athletes, coaches and school ambassadors. We are thrilled to have visitors back on our campuses and are looking forward to an engaging and spirited event.

As a school grounded in the Christian faith, we value and celebrate diversity in all its forms, and we hope that you will embrace the spirit of camaraderie, creativity, and fair competition that is so important in any event. Our state-of-the-art facilities and extensive arts and well-being programs provide ample opportunity for personal and artistic growth. We wish all participants the best of luck, and we look forward to an enjoyable and memorable event.

On behalf of the HKIS School Faculty, Staff and Administration team, I’d like to extend a very warm welcome to all participants, coaches and guests to APAC Cross Country 2024.  Being able to come together in the spirit of friendship and competition is a privilege and an honor that we are thrilled to host in our community this year after such a long absence for everyone on the world stage.  We wish all athletes the best of luck and hope that APAC provides many opportunities for personal growth, camaraderie and competition. To all of our visitors, we sincerely hope that you enjoy the spirit of our school community and the vibrancy and warmth of Hong Kong. 

We would like to extend a warm welcome to all participants of the APAC Cross Country here at Hong Kong International School. The joy and camaraderie that APAC events bring to not only our community but also visiting teams is something we are delighted to celebrate. It is an honor for me to have you join us as we celebrate the talent, hard work and dedication of our student athletes.

Our Dragons are excited to compete against visiting student athletes, but also to learn from your sportsmanship and determination to the sport of cross country. During your time in Hong Kong, we hope you will build new relationships and create unforgettable memories as well. HKIS's Activities & Athletics emphasizes character development, discipline, and life-long experiences for its students. HKIS is extremely grateful to be hosting this event!
