Personal Profile

I am a “typical” Hong Kong guy, born and grew up in Hong Kong. Taking the wave of immigration, my parents and I immigrated to Toronto, Canada when I was 19. I, just like other teenage, explored my identity and became a global citizen in the new environment. I would say this experience is not easy but I got through it. Toronto is a multi-cultural community where I could expand my cultural horizons by taking my undergraduate and working in a TV station as a reporter. After adapting my Canada life, I jumped out of my comfort zone again. I went back HK and pursuit my history study. In 2013 I join the history department of HKBU.
