Mr. Miller

Biography

Mr. Miller first joined Hanford High as a Learning Director in 2016. After spending several years at other assignments within the district he returned to Hanford High last year. Prior to joining our district, Mr. Miller taught science, worked as a Dean of Students and Learning Director. At the same time he worked with new teachers through the county office of education. Mr. Miller has 26 years of experience in the field of education.

Mr. Miller’s passion for distance running lead him to college where he soon found a passion for learning. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Geography and Cartography from Weber State University and a Master’s Degree from California State University Fresno in Administration and Supervision.

His non-work pursuits include being with his family, fishing for anything that swims, studying nature, traveling and enjoying the outdoors.

Mr. Miller’s vision as an administrator is to be a service leader by providing support for all staff so that they can best use their individual talents to thrive in their profession. This opens the door for providing avenues of success for all students of all backgrounds and abilities. His belief is that our system is stronger when we are working together as one.
