About Us


In support of Hardin Jefferson Independent School District’s commitment to academic excellence, the HMS Information & Innovation Center strives to inspire students to become innovative thinkers who critically evaluate informational resources, solve problems creatively, and foster a lifelong love of reading. HMS Information & Innovation Center provides curriculum and support for teaching, learning, and research.


The HMS I & I Center is open from 7:30 am - 2:30 pm every school day. After school hours are also available.


At this time, students are allowed to check out 2 books. Books can be kept for up to 2 weeks. After this date they are considered late. Students do have the option of rechecking the book out. Fines are charged for late books. Fines are 10 cents a day per book. Fines may also be paid by student created book trailers.
