Example: Completed Assessor Report
In order for each section to be sent off for Approval, Assessor Reports must be completed.
Please follow the guidance on the relevant document below, keeping this key information in mind:
Assessors must be 'qualified' to act as an assessor for the activity in question (e.g. swimming coach for swimming as a physical activity; piano teacher for learning piano as a skills activity; Beaver leader for helping at a local Beavers group as a volunteering activity, a responsible adult for assessing your cooking skill)
Assessors cannot be a family member / relative
Assessors must be adults
Assessors must be kept up-to-date regularly in order for them to monitor your progress (e.g. if you are doing cooking as a skill, then your assessor can be a family friend who has experience with cooking, but you will need to provide them with 'evidence' of your cooking such as meals or even photographs of your cooking processes and outcomes - they cannot assess you blindly!)
Assessor reports must be completed at the end of the specified period, by the assessor, on either dofe.org/assessor or on the official DofE Assessor Report from your Welcome Pack that was sent to you in the post / printed from the DofE website (other formats will not be accepted).
Printable digital copies of the Welcome Pack sent to you in the post can also be found here: https://www.dofe.org/welcome-packs-dth/
