Google Cardboard - What is it?

Google Cardboard is a Virtual Reality viewer used with a WiFi-enabled smart phone. There are several manufacturers of Cardboard viewers. You can get the simple Cardboard view (made of cardboard) inexpensively through Amazon. Google Cardboard viewers are rather simple; they consist of cardboard, lenses, a magnet and a rubber band. The lenses make the picture from the smartphone look 3D and the rubber band helps hold the phone in place so it doesn’t fall out of the viewer. The magnet, when used with an image VR app allows changing of images.
