The Hilo Children’s Aerospace Museum is a non-profit, world class, educational experience, geared towards children, but inspiring for adults alike, built inside of, and around, a semi-retired Boeing 747-400. The museum features educational exhibits throughout, a fully functional cockpit flight simulator, and other awe inspiring aerospace artifacts we can creatively get to Hilo.
A specific strategic priority of the museum is to play an active and ongoing role in STEM education for Hilo’s youth, and serve as a platform for creative partnerships that benefit the community by combining education and tourism in ways that honor and resonate with Hilo’s history and invest in the future.
This website lays out the project's vision and how you can help.
