Today we are celebrating the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, who was a leader of the Civil Rights movement.
We are honoring the work that he and many others have done to bring more peace, equity and justice into the world while recognizing that the work to dismantle institutional racism and white supremacy is ongoing and that there is so much yet to do.
