Hi, my name is Padwa Obado. I am currently a freshman at High Tech High. I enjoy many hobbies, including basketball, football, biking, soccer, and acrobatics. My main sport is basketball. I want to play basketball in college and receive a scholarship. I was born in Chula Vista and have lived in Kenya for two years and in Silver Spring, Maryland, for one year, but I have been in San Diego for most of my life. I was homeschooled by my mama until I was in 6th grade, where I then attended Innovations Academy until 7th grade. I graduated from middle school at William H. Farquhar Middle School in Silver Spring with a 4.0 GPA, and I am continuing to prioritize academics here at High Tech High.

I have been playing basketball since I was in 6th grade, and that is when I developed a love for the game. I also played quarterback and wide receiver in flag football with my neighborhood rec center and for the High Tech High team. Soccer used to be my main sport when I was younger, and I played on the rec level. I also used to do acrobatics and juggling as a part of Fern Street Circus. I also ran cross country in 8th grade.
