For our Anza Borrego project, my peers and I had an assortment of field trips, and one of them was focused on Anza Borrego. During this project, we had to sew and embroider stuff about the ocean in Anza Borrego, 6-7 million years ago.
For this project, we had to make a video of our camping trip. My partner and I took turns editing and making the video. We had a bit of a struggle trying to finish up the video, but we ended up making it work.
For this project, we had to write an article about a field trip that we went on. The point of the article was to learn how to share our experiences through writing. I found it challenging to break down my own writing and make it fit the format.
After our field trip to Orange County Ropes Course, we were challenged to make a model, and we also had to write a statement about how we felt during the field trip, and we had to connect our writing to the concepts of physics, such as tension, weight, and force.
For this project, we had to build a boat made out of one giant piece of cardboard. I learned about buoyancy and how to make a cardboard boat. After we built the boat, we went to the bay and tested it to see if it would make it across. Most students passed, and some sank. It was really fun to watch, and those two days we were at the bat were fun.
For this project, we had to create a weather report video. We were also split into teams of four, and we each had our own role for the project. My role was being the filmer, so I had to film the video. For our weather report, we used the weather data that we took during camp.
