HTHI Distance Learning Plan

HTHI teachers and staff are collaboratively working to create distance learning experiences for all of our students. As we embark on this experience, we will use the HTH design principles (equity, personalization, authentic work and collaborative design) to guide our work. Through the distance learning experiences, students will be working with their teachers and peers through various online means (video calls, discussion boards, online commenting, etc.) as well as some independent work. Each grade level has crafted a weekly schedule which includes online class time, independent work and teacher office hours. Please know that we are all new to this type of learning and we will be making changes along the way to best meet the needs of our students. We will be eliciting feedback from students and families weekly to best understand how the experience is going on the home front and what changes we can make to best support our students.
