Dear High Point Community,
In the wake of the death of George Floyd at the hands of police, our country has erupted in many expressions of pain, anger, and a desire for justice. We're sure many parents are searching for ways to discuss topics such as race, racial justice, and protests with their children. Thankfully, there are numerous thoughtful and thorough resources out there aimed to help parents, teachers, and all adults have these crucial discussions with children of all ages. Here is a list of resources for you to consider, along with a reading list of books on racism, inequality, and social justice compiled by our HPA librarians.
