The International Baccalaureate Programme (IB) is a program that provides highly motivated students the opportunity to participate in a college prep. program that

~Empowers students to be highly competitive in college admissions

~Prepares students to perform successfully in college and beyond

~Gives students the opportunity to earn college credit while in high school

~Qualifies students who successfully complete the program for the Florida Bright Futures Scholarship.

The IB Programme at Sebring High is available for any qualifying student in Highlands County

The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end, the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programs of international education and rigorous assessment. These programs encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right.
