Business Operations

The Office of Business Operations manages business-oriented departments of the Highlands County Schools. The goal is to provide resources and support for administrators, teachers, and educational support personnel as they strive to provide students an opportunity to learn.

The office of Business Operations is responsible for the preparation and administration of the annual school district budget, the FTE estimate, and personnel allocations. They also prepare and submit applicable local and state budget documents as required by law, forecast expenditures for federal grants, and prepare and submit Certificate of Participation Annual Disclosure Information, and quarterly lottery reports.
