Highlands Virtual School is a public school in Highlands County that serves students in grades 6-12 and is open to Highlands County residents. Public school students may enroll part-time in courses through their school guidance department. Private school, charter school and home education students may enroll part-time by contacting the Highlands Virtual School office.

Public school, private school, charter school, home education students and students new to Highlands County are eligible to apply to become a full-time Highlands Virtual School student. Full-time virtual students are required to take six courses and follow the state graduation requirements.

Students in Grades K-5 who are interested in full-time virtual instruction may participate in our partner consortium My District Virtual School (MDVS). For information on the elementary program, please click here.
