Financial Math, Geometry, AP Calculus, and Pre-Calculus
I decided to become a teacher when I was having more fun helping other college students with their math homework instead of doing my work for other non-math classes. So I changed my major from Mechanical Engineering to Mathematics Education. So now I have a Degree in mathematics and this will be my 36th year of teaching. Keep all hands and feet inside the car at all times, buckle your seat belt and lets take this ride.
Something to think about:
Homework is to Sports practice
as a Test is to the Game:
You can't expect to excel at either with out putting in the work to get better!
ALL assignments will be posted in Google Classroom.
Geometry and Financial Math will have all lessons recorded and posted in Google Classroom
Pre-Calculus and AP Calculus will only have lessones recorded IF someone is absent (college level classes, get used to it, pay attention in class)
Tutorials are available 5 days a week (before school starting at 7:15, second breakfast, and after school until I am finished grading the days papers.
Progress reports are given to students each Monday, with the one for 3 weeks and 6 weeks being required to be signed by parents for an easy homework grade. Grades are also available through the parent portal, if you don't have a login, contact the High School office for assistance. I start updating grades on Thursdays and completed by Fridays
If students know they are going to miss days, they should ask if there are any worksheets that will be needed, although they will be posted in Google Classroom, there will be times that the work will be required to be on the worksheet and this will negate the need for the student to print their own copy.
