The Hicksville School Library Media Center assists students in the pursuit of educational excellence. The Library Media Center has the following objectives in pursuit of this goal:

• To operate as an integral part of the curriculum, supporting 21st century classroom instruction in a meaningful way.
• To promote a lifelong love of reading and learning.
• To develop responsible digital citizens.
• To support learning in a welcoming environment where students are encouraged research, read, and create.
