The goal of the Hicksville Middle School Library is to provide an environment where students and teachers can collaborate, explore and learn together. To help foster that, the library has a large collection of both fiction and non-fiction print material to meet the various interests of the school community.
In addition, the library subscribes to a number of periodicals and databases that provide the students with information on current events and other topics of interest.
The library is open during lunch periods 4, 5, 6, & 7, as long as a class is not scheduled.
Students can get a pass from the teacher on duty in the cafeteria.
The library is also open after school from 2:30 pm - 3:10 pm.
Mrs. Lasurdo is available for extra help
Tuesday 2:30-3:10 in the library.
