Fraternal saludo, Estimados padres, guardianes y estudiantes mi nombre es Luis Garcia, Jefe del departamento de lenguas y profesor de Español en Hickory High School.
I am thrilled to be here at Hickory High for four years already sharing my culture and the second most spoken language in the world.
B.A. in Spanish, French, and English of the University of La Salle Bogota, Colombia.

Why to learn spanish?
Nowadays, the world requires bilingual people able to communicate through cultures. Learning a new language is fun and beneficial to your self-esteem and mental health. You could speak like a native speaker or not, but what matters is that you feel good about yourself and are intelligible.
