GO BEARS!!!
Message from the Principal:
Happy Labor Day Weekend! It was a fantastic 1st week. We can't wait for all the exciting things this year will bring! Check out all the exciting things that are coming up this month!
Fall Raffle Ticket sale is underway.
This Thursday September 7th, the Boys Scouts will hold a parent information session in the Media Center for all interested families at 6:30.
Please make plans to join us this Friday (9/8) and/or Saturday (9/9) for our Crawdad's Spirit Nights.
Progress Reports go home: Monday, September 18th.
Dominos Spirit Night: September 19th.
Open House/PTA Meeting/Family Movie Night: Friday, September 29th. We will have a brief PTA meeting starting at 5:30. Families will be encouraged to walk through their classrooms to see displayed work samples, sign up for conferences if desired, and get some important information from teachers. At 7:00 we will start an outdoor movie on the front playground. Concessions will be sold and families can bring yard chairs and blankets to sit on.
A few other reminders I want to be sure that you are aware of include:
If you have not yet paid your instructional fees please send $15 with you child this week or pay online by CLICKING HERE!
Students are only allowed to drink water in class. Please do not send sweet drinks for snack.
No soft drinks are allowed for snack or at lunch.
When packing snack, please send a light snack that doesn't require utensils or heavy clean up.
We ask that parents hold off on coming to eat lunch with students until Monday, September 18th. This allows us time to establish routines with students.
If you would like for your child to receive a free dental cleaning please let your teacher know and they will send home paperwork for you to complete that will allow us to schedule this service. The dental bus will be at our school September 25th-28th, so please get forms returned ASAP.
You may have noticed a tag attached to your child's bookbag. These tags help students go through the breakfast line quickly. Please help keep them safely secured to your child's bookbag. We encourage everyone to take advantage of free breakfast and lunch this year. Participation is being tracked and we need to show that a lot of students are taking advantage of it in order to ensure we will receive the same grant again next year.

Afternoon Dismissal / Carline Directions (Click Here)
Everyday carline runs a little smoother. Friday we were without a driver for one of the buses, so carline ran a little slower than usual. We hope this will not happen again but appreciate very much your patience and understanding as we work to continue to get carline running smoothly. Please remember to have your carline tag visible.
This year all students will participate in a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) Specials class. We are collecting the following household items to support some of the projects and explorations that will take place in STEAM class this year. These items can be turned in at the front office.
