Howdy!

This is my 2nd year here at HCAM, and I look forward to many more with the wonderful students and staff here at this special school.

I studied English Literature and Creative Writing at Appalachian State University, and even though I've been just about everywhere in this sprawling country of ours, I was born and raised right here in Hickory.

Writing, reading, and studying literature has been bringing me joy for quite a long time now, and if I can awaken that joy in someone else, and make a positive impact on the lives of my students, then I will have done my job.
