Mrs. Gomersall is an Assistant Principal at Hickory High School. She earned her Bachelor's from Charleston Southern University in South Carolina, Master's in Elementary/Special Education from the College of Rochester in New York and Education Specialist in Administration from Nova Southeastern University in Florida. Mrs. Gomersall began her education career in West Palm Beach, Florida as a teacher and worked her way to becoming an assistant principal. During her educational career, she has served in various roles including coaching, activities director, graduation coordinator, student government sponsor, special education coordinator and many more.
Mrs. Gomersall lives by the motto to never forget what it is like to be a teacher or a student in the classroom. Everyday is a learning opportunity full of teachable moments. It is her goal as an administrator to help students graduate high school with the skill necessary for post-secondary success.
