About Mrs. Daly

Hello Fifth Grade!  I am Mrs. Daly! My classroom is in the middle of the second floor area.

This will be my seventh year here at Holy Family!

I had previously worked at the Council Rock School District, where I was a long-term substitute 8th Grade English teacher at Newtown Middle School, along with substituting around the district. Previously, I was a substitute for the Cheshire Public Schools in Cheshire, CT; I also taught high school English at Mother Seton Regional High School in Clark, NJ.

I earned my Bachelor's degree from Ursinus College in Collegeville, PA and my Master's in Elementary Education from Southern Connecticut State University.

My family and I live in Newtown, PA, where we root for the Eagles, the Flyers and the Phillies (although we still are fans of the Boston Red Sox, the Boston Bruins and the New England Patriots - this is what happens when you live in New England for 14 years!). My husband and I have three children: one daughter who is a chemical engineer; another daughter who will be graduating from Drexel University this spring; and our tenth-grade son who loves playing all sorts of instruments in the band and orchestra ensembles at Council Rock North. So as you can see, I have been through the school experience as a parent!

We're going to have a terrific year, and I'm looking forward to helping your students learn new things, improve their skills and enjoy what we do!
