All About Me

My name is Krystina Ponce de Leon and I have been teaching in some capacity for the past 13 years. I have taught grades 1st through 5th, and they all have something great to offer. I was also a stay at home mom for several years. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in English Literature from Cal State San Bernardino and my multiple subject, single subject in English teaching credentials, and Master's Degree in Education from Azusa Pacific University.

I am married to my husband Jeff and we have two children, Abygail (8) and Brayden (6). We have several pets- two dogs, a cat, and two turtles. We love taking road trips, visiting Utah, spending time with family, cooking together, and having movie nights. My hobbies include reading, quilting, and gardening.

I feel blessed to be your child's teacher. I believe in having high expectations, working hard, and having fun while learning. I hope to instill the love of learning into every student and show them how hard work and determination can make their dreams a reality. I am here to help in any way I can.
