PHYSICAL EDUCATION RESOURCES

In an effort to keep everyone strong, fit and mentally positive throughout the course of this pandemic, we have created a hub for online PE and fitness classes We hope to provide you with age appropriate information, lessons, activities, instructional sports videos, exercises, and fitness plans. We are leading off with some general information about exercise along with fitness activities and plans you can do at home, as well as information about what you can do outside as long as you aren’t sick or under quarantine and adhere to the practice of Social Distancing. In the days and weeks that Heschel remains closed, we will be adding content and adapting that content to evolving circumstances and recommendations from the Department of Health and the CDC. It is vital that we all maintain an adequate level of both cardio-vascular and muscle fitness, and adopt effective practices and habits that calm anxiety and relieve stress. Good eating habits, proper rest and vigorous physical activity and exercise make up the triad to a healthy lifestyle; through this hub the PE Dept. hopes to continue to serve the community as a resource and advocate for physical and mental fitness and health.

Wishing you good health and happiness,

The Heschel PE Department
