Meet your club leaders! We started this club because we want to foster an environment of STEM Opportunity and learning outside of the classroom, and provide students with hands-on-experience. We are all interested in STEM ourselves, so come up and talk to us anytime.

At HHS STEM Outreach Club, our mission is to empower students with knowledge and resources to pursue successful careers in STEM. We are dedicated to providing a supportive and enriching environment for STEM exploration and learning.
Our vision is to inspire and equip the next generation of STEM leaders. We aim to foster curiosity, creativity, and innovation, preparing students to make meaningful contributions to the STEM field and society as a whole.
Through our club, students have access to various resources, including STEM experiments, career fairs, mentorship programs + talks, and networking opportunities. We strive to create a platform for STEM education and personal growth.

Project STEM is a summer internship that encourages high school students with a passion for science and engineering to engage in college-level research. This program is a joint effort between the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences (PBS) and the Indianapolis Project STEM, interns will be hosted by researchers in Chemistry, Neuroscience, and PBS.

This eight-week program welcomes students to explore a unique chance for those interested in various STEM careers, including medicine, dentistry, computer science, life sciences, chemistry, and biomedical engineering. Through a competitive application process students are paired with leading research faculty who guide them through an engaging summer project. Students are matched with research labs at like the Indiana University School of Medicine, Indiana University Indianapolis, and the Indiana Bioscience Research Institute (IB).

4.5-day learning experience tailored for high school students, to explore various STEM fields and explore various career paths in a fun and engaging environment.
