9th Grade English

Hello, Scholars and families!

I am very excited to welcome you to the '20/'21 school year. I have been a certified teacher for 20 years. One of the reasons why I became a teacher was to share the love of reading and writing with kids. Last year I taught 9th and 10th grade English, and I loved every minute of it. Before coming to Heritage, I taught 1st, 2nd, 5th, 6th, and 7th grade. The majority of years were spent teaching 7th graders.

I have been married for 24 years, and I have two adult children. Some of my favorite authors include Edgar Allan Poe, Ray Bradbury, and Stephen King. I love Heritage Academy, and I can't wait to meet all of my scholars!
