Welcome to Martial Arts at Heritage Academy, Maricopa Campus. My name is Lee Feiles, and I hold the rank of 7th Degree Black Belt, Senior Master Instructor. I am honored to be part of the Heritage education team.
I have been training Taekwondo and the aspects of other disciplines for over 35 years, and teaching for about 25. I was proud to earn two World Championship performance titles in 2009, in both empty hand and weapons presentations.
I have been involved in the operation of 7 commercial schools in Arizona, but have been dedicated to Maricopa for the past 9 years. My entire family are involved in training, and I love bringing my knowledge and experience to others in the hope that they can learn and grow with me. My goal is to help scholars enjoy all the benefits of martial arts training in a safe, friendly and cooperative environment. Classes will focus on the art of Taekwondo, which gives participants tools for self-improvement including:
Physical: Fitness, Self-defense, Coordination, Motor Skills, Healthy Habits
Mental: Confidence, Focus, Concentration, Memorization
Character: Discipline, Courtesy, Respect, Honor, Leadership

However, all scholars are treated as individuals and are reminded that Martial Arts is a personal journey. We recognize that all scholars have their own set of abilities and challenges. Participants are only expected to make their best effort, without fear of being compared to others.
