Ms. Hatch was born and raised in Olympia, WA. Her interests include hiking, running, biking, kayaking, street hockey and basically any good activities her four kids are up for. From a young age she has loved science and the process of discovery. She loves asking questions and learning.

In 1996, Ms. Hatch earned a General Associates degree with a major in health and education from Ricks College. She received a Bachelors of Science degree in social work from Brigham Young University in 2000. She recently completed courses in chemistry and mathematics at the Maricopa Community Colleges and plans to earn a Masters Degree in Chemistry from ASU. This is her second year teaching at Heritage Academy. Prior to teaching at Heritage Academy, she taught 7th grade science as a, long term substitute teacher for the Peoria Unified School District.
