About Magistra Truitt

Mrs. Truitt earned her Bachelor of Education degree with a Latin Teaching major and a Spanish Teaching minor. As part of her undergraduate studies, she completed a semester of study at Universidad del Bio Bio, Chillán, Chile, and she has completed further upper-level courses in Latin Teaching through the University of Georgia and continuing education to become certified to teach Dual Enrollment courses in Latin through Rio Salado College. She holds a Secondary Education certificate in the State of Arizona with endorsements for Spanish and Structured English Immersion. Magistra Truitt enjoys introducing the students to conscious learning of speaking, reading, and writing in the Latin language by building a foundation with classical Latin in junior high and continuing into the study of writings by original Roman authors in the high school level Dual Enrollment courses.
