Hello, I'm Coach (Robin) Daniels and I'm pleased to be your scholar's instructor. Yes, I'm a bit old for a second year teacher. Teaching was always my plan, but I took a zillion years off after college to be home with my five children.

My primary position at Heritage Academy is the Junior Fitness instructor. I'm also the girls and boys varsity volleyball coach. I have a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Physical Education with an emphasis in secondary teaching along with ten-plus years of competitive volleyball coaching experience.

In addition to teaching junior high PE, I'll be teaching high school creative writing. I know that seems like a big, random, stretch but I promise it makes sense. Before I started teaching last year, I was a full-time a professional author. I've published 11 novels in the last 3 years which have sold over 50,000 copies between them. In the book world that's not a crazy amount, but I feel like it makes me uniquely qualified to teach creative writing.
