5 Daily habits for Personal Development

By Marius Machedon

Every day thousands of people die leaving nothing, but their names behind. Every day new people are born and from the moment you are born you begin to die. In this world time is the single most important thing that money can not buy. In this article, I will be talking about Personal development and some daily habits for Personal Development.

  1. Waking up early

A lot of people of successful people wake up early in the morning and it has been proved by a Harvard Business Review study that morning people who do their work in the morning are more likely to be successful. Starting your day early in the morning allows you to focus on your goals, or maybe to workout, or do a shower, the possibilities are endless.

  1. Do a digital detox

For most people, the first thing that they do in the morning is turning their phone on and watching or reading something. You have just barely woken up and immediately you feel the urge to turn on that phone. That is really bad so I have a better idea; the moment you wake up have at least 40 minutes before turning on that phone. I don’t want to hear any excuse with the alarm just get a regular clock for 15 dollars. Read until the end for all the links.

  1. Meditate

A lot of people neglect the positive effects of meditating for just 10 minutes a day. It can change how you think, how you act, and how you feel towards everything. Meditation can make you calmer, more relaxed, and more careful when in a stressful situation. The most successful people meditate and I think you should too. If you want to read more about meditation check the link at the end of the article.

  1. Set daily goals

Everyone has goals either small or big, but we can’t deny that setting up goals and accomplishing them feels great it’s like a part of us. Almost all successful people set up goals because they do actually work and after one to two weeks of setting goals daily, they become a daily habit. Reaching somewhere in life is almost impossible without setting certain goals.

  1. Sleep for long enough

The most neglected thing on this list is probably sleeping. We have the gift of choice whenever we want to go to sleep although our body needs 7 hours minimum for an adult sleep, although for a teenager and a child from 8 to 9 hours of sleep is a good amount. Most teenagers sleep less than 7 hours and a half which is really bad for their bodies. I will be mentioning some effects of sleep deprivation down below.

  • Lack of alertness. Even missing as little as 1.5 hours can have an impact on how you feel.

  • Excessive daytime sleepiness. It can make you very sleepy and tired during the day.

  • Impaired memory. Lack of sleep can affect your ability to think, remember and process information.

  • Relationship stress. It can make you feel moody and you can become more likely to have conflicts with others.

  • Quality of life. You may become less likely to participate in normal daily activities or to exercise.

  • Greater likelihood of car accidents. Drowsy driving accounts for thousands of crashes, injuries, and fatalities each year, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
