About Us

Welcome to the Henry County Early Childhood Center.

The staff and I strive to actively engage children in an environment where they will gain the skills and knowledge they will need in order to enter the elementary school ready to achieve and excel in learning.

Our program is a language based preschool, which provides experiences that focus on the developmental needs of each child in the areas of language, cognition, social and emotional development as well as gross and fine motor skills.

The preschool curriculum is delivered to all children using a multi-sensory approach, which allows the children to learn basic concepts and skills through hands-on experiences and activities.

These activities promote literacy and language development as well as pre-math skills and encourage children to explore, question and discover answers while the teachers observe and record each child’s ongoing growth and development.
