Hi, my name is Erin Dickey. This will be by fifth year teaching here at Academy for Advanced Studies and eleventh year in Henry County Schools. My goal is to motivate each one of my students to excel and be the best that they can be. Let's have a  wonderful school year. 

I went to Albany State University for undergraduate school and received my Master's from Troy University. I received from Teaching Certification from Griffin RESA. 

I have taught students of different age groups from 5-81. I have taught GED classes in the correctional system. I also taught for Southern Crescent Technical College for six years. I have taught online English as a Second Language. I have taught at Locust Grove Middle School for six years and Academy For Advanced Studies, with this being my for fourth year. 

One thing to know about me is I am a very positive person and I love motivating people! If you ever talk to someone in my class they will tell you we foster a positive learning community in class and we become family. Knowledge is essential, but building lasting healthy, positive, friendships is so important. My students are encouraged to make life young friends.
