Woodland Elementary School opened in 2007. It is located on the outskirts of Stockbridge, a town in the South Atlanta metro area. Woodland is clustered with Woodland Middle School and Woodland High School to form a learning community. A learning community aimed at high standards of student achievement.

Both Cotton Indian and Pleasant Grove have made excellent academic progress, meeting county, state and national expectations. Woodland will continue to strive for the same level of excellence.
