9th Grade Literature and Composition I, is designed to develop literacy skills through an integrated approach to reading, writing, grammar, word study, speaking, listening, and critical thinking. The course curriculum is based on the Georgia Standards of Excellence. 

Key Focus Areas: Literature Exploration & Writing Development

We have 6 Units of Study for the 2026-2027 school year.  The thematic units are:
