Hello Warhawk Parents, Family, and Friends,

My name is Chelsea Benson, and I am the Family Engagement Liaison here at McDonough Middle School. I am excited to introduce you to our Parent Resource Center, which is designed to support you in helping your child succeed in their education.

As a parent or guardian, you’ll have access to free resources that can aid your child’s learning. You are welcome to visit the center to check out materials for use at home, as well as use our computers to access Infinite Campus or address any other computer-related needs. If you have questions about your child’s education—whether it's scheduling a parent-teacher conference or navigating the Infinite Campus Parent Portal—I am here to help.

Our Parent Resource Center is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. If these hours don't work for you, please reach out, and we can arrange a time that better fits your schedule.

In addition, please visit our school website and check out the Title I page under the "About Us" tab for the latest school information. From there, you can access our School-Parent Compact, Parent and Family Engagement Plan, and learn about upcoming workshops and Title I parent meetings.

Research shows that when parents are involved in their child’s education, it has a powerful impact on academic success and overall well-being. Children thrive when they see their families engaged in their learning journey.
