Hello! I'm Shannon Golden!

I’m excited to be your child’s 5th grade math teacher! This is my first year as a classroom teacher, and I couldn’t be more excited to begin this journey! I earned my bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication from the University of West Georgia and am currently pursuing my master’s degree in Elementary Education.

My goal is to create a classroom where every student feels welcomed, supported, and encouraged to take risks, ask questions, and grow as a mathematician.

In our classroom, we will build confidence through collaboration, hands-on learning, problem-solving, and a positive mindset. I believe that every child is capable of success, and I strive to make learning an adventure where students feel challenged, celebrated, and inspired each day.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy baking, playing with makeup alongside my nieces, spending time in nature, and learning new crafts .
