Hello! I'm Taneka Ervin!

Hello, Dolphins! My name is Taneka Ervin, and I am so excited to be your child’s Pre-K Teacher this school year! This will be my 5th year teaching at Wesley Lakes Elementary, and I am truly grateful to continue growing alongside our amazing Dolphin family.

I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Development from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. I come from a long line of educators, so you could say teaching is in my DNA! 💙📚

I have a genuine passion for working with young children and helping them build confidence, independence, curiosity, and a love for learning. I believe that every child is unique, capable, and full of potential, and I am excited to create a classroom where your child feels safe, loved, supported, and excited to learn each day.

I look forward to getting to know your family and being a part of your child’s growth and development. Together, we are going to make this a fun, memorable, and wonderful school year! 🐬✨
