Brainstorm and sketch ideas about personal experiences that relate to American society. Identify two symbols that represent a personal position.
Take or gather black and white imagery. Procure at least two photos that are symbols to represent a personally relevant perspective of society. Gather or take one self-portrait. Upload images you take to your google drive.
Using the symbols of American society as a subject matter and inspiration, create imagery on adobe express. Consider the colors used for this image as different colors will convey different moods or emotions. Save images to incorporate later.
Determine the placement of the black and white images on top of the background. Consider the balance of the composition.
Your final piece needs to have a minimum of 5 layers.
