Review the color theory concept of cool colors.
Plan a self-portrait by sketching a variety of options. Explore setting, pose, and overall style in thumbnail compositions. Compare and contrast thumbnail sketches. Choose one sketch for the final drawing.
Based on the hand-drawn sketch, take a self-portrait photograph to serve as an inspiration and a guide for a digitally drawn self-portrait.
Using the photograph as a reference, draw the portrait in Adobe Express.
Add layers. Begin applying color to the specific layers. Include details using cool colors as each layer is added.
Continue to define the portrait details and add finishing touches using cool colors.
Combine layers and export the final artwork.
