In your Visual Verbal Journal sketch out a minimum of 6 ideas for your mandala design, choose the best one
Don't forget to add your sketches to your table of contents
use 12"x12" white paper
use a compass and ruler draw your circle and divide your circle into 12 equal sections
draw designs in pencil then, trace lines with thick and thin black sharpies, fill in some areas to create contrast
use watercolor paint to add primary, secondary and intermediate/tertiary colors
once your mandala is complete cut it out and paste it to black poster board
