What is the ratcliffe community learning center?

The Ratcliffe Community Learning Center (CLC) is an epicenter for school-community learning partnerships essential to expanded learning for the whole family. The CLC provides opportunities for academic enrichment, (including providing tutorial services), offers students a broad array of additional services, programs, and activities, and offers families of students served by 21st CCLCs opportunities for active and meaningful engagement in their children’s education.

Ratcliffe CLC is proud to announce it's newest partnership with the BGA School of Music. BGA will be providing programming for our Extended Day students including: Hip Hop Dance, Intro to Keyboard, Music Theory and more.

"Musical training helps develop language and reasoning: Students who have early musical training will develop the areas of the brain related to language and reasoning. ... Students learn to improve their work: Learning music promotes craftsmanship, and students learn to want to create good work instead of mediocre work. "
