Image is an example of some anonymous student interaction.

Our project as seen below was to use Sticky Notes as an anonymous way for students to vent and receive support from one other. The goal of this was to bring awareness to mental health and other issues students face. Often times students have no way to release unwanted stress or energy and their issues are bottled up and hidden away which has more cons than pros. This project brought light to these issues and also gave an optional sweet treat reward through a Google form for their participation.

Candy rewards from the Google form would fill the rest of our budget.
We bought all the materials we needed! All of our excess and unused were given to teachers.
We finalized the details.
We asked some of our peers and the librarians to make sure anything inappropriate is removed.
And made sure people were aware of the project.
We left the materials on the whiteboard.
This is Image Carasoul of our process!
Making posters, having them up, explaining creating the form, emails we have, recipts, etc.
We had almost no issue with the project, surprisingly! We only had trouble finding the online products/ prices outside of the web and instore.
Fun fact, we left the wall up for a little longer because of how well it went.
We decided that the project would create a safe space to discuss mental pains and bring awareness of those pains. A better world is where people with mental health issues get help or at least have others be aware of what poor mental health is like.
In the end, we got mostly positive results. Students seemed to think that our project was effective. We're pretty glad it was helpful!
We learned that people usually have a lot of stress from school and have no way to cope. At least 50% of the notes addressed school and the stress of it. We gave this information to the counselors as well as other data we collected so they had a better understanding of our peers mental health.

We think we did well. We think this project shows that even this much mental health awareness or support is enough to make a change in the world. A change to somewhere more positive and healthy. We noticed that other people around the school have started using sticky notes on their classroom doors, walls, etc. for kindness-related reasons. We think we made a difference in our community and saw how even the smallest acts can start a butterfly effect leading to a kinder world.
