What's Happening in PTO?

The PTO Team is excited to have some new faces and hopes to continue the amazing work of the previous PTO Board.

Our mission is to inspire, encourage and empower all children to achieve their highest potential. We strive to enrich the experience of students by seeking resources that help support the social, emotional and academic development of our students.

We love to hear from parents about things they love, things they'd love to see, and maybe even some things they'd like to see changed. If you have ideas or want to help Heritage PTO reach our goals and continue to provide our Explorers with a great learning adventure please let us know!

Feel free to contact us at the emails listed, we look forward to hearing from you.

Or if you have membership questions please send an email to

We're looking forward to a GREAT YEAR!!!

Heritage Heroes Fund Run FINAL!

October 4, 2018

THANK YOU! Our students ran a total of 8,214 laps, or 821 miles! That's like running to San Diego or the Pacific Ocean! Way to go Explorers! Our Heritage Heroes raised $33,352 to help our school! Your generous donations will help us focus on curriculum needs, smaller class sizes and offset school operating costs!

To EVERYONE who donated - thank you so much from all of us at Heritage Elementary and your Heritage PTO! We are so humbled and proud of each and every one of our families who help make Heritage such an amazing community. Thank you just doesn't seem like enough, but we do thank you so very much!

  3. Save the bottle caps. Save as many as you can—from your bottles, or collect them from your family and neighbors.
  4. Bring your milk caps to school and put them into the collection box in the lobby at school.

No Pets on School Property

Due to allergies and many children’s fear of dogs, please do NOT bring pets on school property when dropping off or picking up your children.

School Hours

The school soft start is at 8:25 a.m with the first bell ringing at 8:35 a.m. No line up is needed; the doors will be open. The 8:40 a.m. bell indicates that students are late. All students are dismissed at 3:30 p.m. Half-day kindergarteners attend either from 8:40 a.m. to 11:35 a.m. or 12:35 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. They are released a few minutes beforehand to avoid the rush of older students.

If You Forget Something...

Unless your child forgot his or her lunch or glasses, we will deliver all other items (homework, water bottles, instruments, shoes, etc.) at 9:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. each day.

We Need Your Student’s Immunization Records

Our health assistant, Brandee Tudor, is available to accept updated immunization records for kindergarten and 6th grade students. Please bring them to the front office.

Car Loop Do's & Don'ts

The car loop lets you drive into the parking lot and stay in your car. As you pull up, your students can exit from the right side of your vehicle onto the sidewalk and walk into school. This keeps the cars moving. If you must park, please don’t block the car loop lane. Pull into a designated parking space. Cross with your students at the crosswalk to ensure their safety.

Reminder: Handicap spaces are for those with a handicap placard or license plate.
