Dear Trojan Students and Families,
I am honored to introduce myself as a new assistant principal at Trinity High School. This is my twenty-second year in education, and I am thrilled to begin this next chapter with the Trojan community.
I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas State University–San Marcos and my Master of Education, along with my Principal’s Certification, from the University of Texas at Arlington. I am a proud product of HEB I.S.D., having attended Bedford Heights Elementary, Bedford Junior High, and L.D. Bell High School.
My career in education began in Birdville ISD, where I taught Pre-K and 4th grade at Mullendore Elementary and 7th grade at North Richland Middle School. I later returned to my roots in HEB ISD, serving as an instructional specialist at North Euless Elementary. I then transitioned to teaching 8th grade at Central Junior High, followed by junior and senior English at KEYS High School. Each role has shaped my passion for supporting students in meaningful and lasting ways, and I’m excited to bring that experience with me to Trinity.
Trinity holds a very special place in my heart. My parents both worked at Trinity High School, and it was here that they met. I have fond childhood memories of running through these very halls on weekends, scribbling on chalkboards and soaking in the school spirit even then. To now serve in this building as part of the leadership team is truly a full-circle moment for me.
Outside of school, I’ve been married for seventeen years and am the proud mom of two boys who stay busy with baseball and football. As an educator, it is my privilege to encourage students to grow not just academically, but as lifelong learners prepared to thrive in any path they choose.
I’m blessed to be a part of such an extraordinary culture at Trinity High School and look forward to partnering with you in the year ahead.
Go Trojans!
