Mrs. Stallings

I began my teaching career in HEB in 1976. The following year, I began teaching in the Austin ISD and then the Coppell ISD. In 1980, I had my first child, and stayed at home for eleven years to raise my three children. In 1991, I decided to restart my teaching career and began teaching in HEB ISD at South Euless Elementary. I was at South Euless for nearly a quarter of a century. In 2015, I had the opportunity to come to Central Junior High. I teach 7th and 8th Grade Basic English. Teaching your children at Central has been enriching and life changing. I am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of your children's lives, and hopefully to help them discover themselves and encourage them to set goals. I want my students to realize that we are all "Citizens of Eternity", and that everything we do touches someone's life now and for generations to come. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to teach your children.

Mrs. Stallings' Mission Statement:

My mission is to engage with my students through teaching so they will learn and grow to be lifelong learners, and to be adults of good character. I want my students to make a difference--to make their community and their world a better place to live.

Class Mission Statement:

We come to English class to learn so we can pass to the next grade level. We will come to class ready to work hard. We will not waste time on unnecessary drama. We want to become good readers and writers. We know that will help us reach the goals that we have set for ourselves. We will be respectful of each other and always treat others as we want to be treated. We will be helpful to those who need help. If we do these things, we will have a successful year.
