Mr.Toepfer

My name is Everett Toepfer and I teach 7th Grade Pre-AP and 8th Grade Science. I graduated from The University of Texas in Arlington, and I'm certified to teach Science in grades 4-12. I haven't always been a teacher; I worked in the home building industry for 26 years. I started as a student teacher at Central Junior High in 2011 and was officially invited to join the Central staff in 2012.

I've been married to my lovely wife Elizabeth (a sixth grade teacher at Hurst Hills Elementary) for 36 years. We have twins, a son and a daughter, who are now 33 years old. My wife and I are now the proud grandparents to two grandsons, ages 5 and 1. We also have a cat named Percy.

Throughout the school year I will be updating this website to include all of the information that you and your child will need as we navigate the science curriculum. If you have any questions or need any help, please feel free to contact me.
